Illuminated Pacific NW Landscape Paintings

Catherine Freshley has had her studio gallery in the Williams/Vancouver neighborhood since 2022, and recently moved from North Vancouver Avenue to a more prominent spot on North Williams Avenue. Her paintings will be acrylic on wood panels and will include LED lights as a permanent component of the piece. The paintings will be on display in the gallery; the gallery will be open special hours for the Portland Winter Light Festival and the art will be visible from the street even when the gallery is not open. Light bulbs in the base of the painting change the painting’s color.
